Yup, about to smoke another one of these right now. I’ve run into a lot of the same problems that others here have with the past LX2′s that I’ve smoked – uneven burn, hard to keep lit, etc. They are enjoyable cigars, but it hasn’t quite lived up to the excitement. Here’s hoping this one’s a bit better.

i have to say the lx2 is a great cigar i’m a big fan of cao cigar and about a month ago i had another great cao cigar for the first time intro to me by Tim ozgener himself at a cigar show in baltimore it was a pleasure to meet him and find out the history behind cao and be intro to the cao LA TRAVIATA this has turned into a cigar i find myself smoking more of each day not to take away from the lx2 that i also gave a rating of 91 but more a fan of the mx2 box press

I’m surprised by MOST reactions to this stick. The first one I had was unreal for the price at my local shop. I have had a dozen since then. The only issues I had with draw and flavor was when I tried the torpedo. Every robusto has been so similar I keep going back to it. Can’t wait to get a box and smoke one with a few months rest! Also, I never noticed the appearance you mentioned! Nice review…I will have to take a gander my next time in!

I had my first one of these yesterday. I found the first half of the smoke to be really boring, but in the second half the flavor and strength seemed to really come out. Nice review.
