Yup, about to smoke another one of these right now. I've run into a lot of the same problems that others here have with the past LX2's that I've smoked - uneven burn, hard to keep lit, etc. They are enjoyable cigars, but it hasn't quite lived up to the excitement. Here's hoping this one's a bit better.

I'm surprised by MOST reactions to this stick. The first one I had was unreal for the price at my local shop. I have had a dozen since then. The only issues I had with draw and flavor was when I tried the torpedo. Every robusto has been so similar I keep going back to it. Can't wait to get a box and smoke one with a few months rest! Also, I never noticed the appearance you mentioned! Nice review...I will have to take a gander my next time in!

I had my first one of these yesterday. I found the first half of the smoke to be really boring, but in the second half the flavor and strength seemed to really come out. Nice review.

[...] Yet another take from Cigar Smokers Journal: “I used a punch cut on this cigar to limit the smoke intake because of how strong everyone said these cigars are. I believe due to the fact I used to hole punch the cigar appeared to be more medium bodied to me. As I said in my preface this cigar is highly anticipated and should live up to the hype for most people. It is to date the best CAO I have ever smoked, and I consider myself a big fan of their smokes. If the appearance was better it would of scored 2-3 points higher.” [...]
