I think I need to ad, that this review is of the 68 made by a different factory then those that are out now. One of the drawback of Padilla is the constant changing

very disapointing smoke. Rosomax hits it on the head Damp Grass. cigars have an almost greenish raw look. Letting mine sit and age and hoping for the best>

I smoke these Padilla 68′s most often, even though I have 32′s, Dominus’ and Miami’s, O’plenty. Just a stellar blend thats extremely satisfying. I like the robustos, lanceros and torpedos in that order. Its a fairly simple profile but very unique and like I said, very satisfying to me.

I finally smoked a ’68 the other day. I have been enoying the hell out of Padilla’s Achilles, and the ’68 went along that same line, except it’s more expensive. ButGod, I love the Corojos!

Cranks up the flavor and strength of the ’48 just a notch, keeping it firmly in the medium range — never overpowering, making this Padilla Series ’68 sit, as intended, square in the middle of Ernie’s cigars’ spectrum.

I like much of what Padilla has to offer but the ’68 was for the most part flavorless. Started out low in the flavor department and went downhill.

Rosomax…you are not the only one who dislikes the ’68. I am very disapointed. I was very excited to try the Padilla’s. Just received a sampler pack and I have 14 more of the Padilla’s to smoke. I hope I will enjoy the others, Miami and Achilles.

Why am I the only one who dislikes the ’68? I love the 1932 and enjoy the ’48, but ’68 tastes like damp grass to me. The draw is loose, and that flavor gets pleasant maybe for a second third, but then again returns to lamentable damp grass taste.
