I usually pick up a box of petite coronas or the equivalent for the hot summer nights –something with a lot of flavor in a small package. Rocky Patel Sungrown PCs or Padron Ambassadors (the last box of maduros were great.) As long as I can smoke most of the cigar before I’m drenched I’m good.

So far I have noticed my choice change based on the weather. But now I’m sure it’ll be a consideration. And I would imagine that I would go for more mild. Guess we’ll wait and see.

And we had 80′s in CO this past week and this morning there was 3″-4″ of snow on the ground. Gotta love spring in the Rockies.

You know, I was wondering why I’ve been getting light-headed when I go out to smoke in the heat lately. I think you just answered my question. Thanks!

I’ve been getting into more mild smokes, but I think it’s just that my pallet is changing.

I almost always opt for a milder cigar in hot weather. I find that more full body smokes make me thirsty. I usually will have some water around when I’m smoking something big. On a hot day, it doubles my thirst factor!
