I'm a huge Lfd fan but until today this one had eluded me. All I can say is wow! This one knocked my socks off. I couldn't describe the nuances any better so I won't even try. Great stick!

Barry

I think you need to be smoking LFD more oftrn and find him and Pepin are to of the best blenders out there. Very shocked you have had burn issues with LFD they all burn perfect for me. Although this cigar is an excellent smoke he does have alot others that are better.
The Mysterio Natural, LFD A, All his Chisels, and his Salomon are some of his better ones that he has made. The Chisel is smoked with a punch from the side all the way through really change the profile of the cigar and should be smoked that way only.

Barry,
Just happened upon your site and found your review of the LFD Habano. I agree whole-heartedly with the review. One point, though, I've been aging some since they first came out and they do improve as time goes on, if that's possible. I've tried many of the LFD's and this is now one of my favorites.
Thanks for all the great info.

I"m new to your blog, I just found it today and I'll be a regular reader from now on. As a long time LFD fan I also agree 100% with your review. This smoke is much different than the LFD Salomone however it deserves the 96 raing if not higher. I would probably bump it up a point or 2 just because of the value. I'm sure I'll burn my fingertips several times when I'm enjoying the LFD Habano. Great job on the review!

I've found that I don't care for many of what seem to be the most popular LFDs on the forums and blogs, like the chisel, ligero, and double ligero. They just end up being too charry tasting to me, without the subtlety and complexity I like, at least to my taste buds. That said, I really like some of the less often mentioned LFDs like the Cameroon Cabinet, the 2000 series, Coronado, and even the Reserva Especial tubos. There are also some LFDs that are the LG Diez blend with a Habano wrapper floating around the web that are very good.
