A few people have asked me if my overall health is OK since I’ve been sick a lot lately. The answer is yes and no. About 16 months ago I was diagnosed with Lupus. Lupus is a chronic, inflammatory autoimmune disorder. It effects mostly women, and I belong to the smallest faction of people with the disease. 0.01% Caucasian male make up the lupus population. My mom always said I was special. Anyway, I’m lucky for the most part that the disease has really only effected my joints but I seem to be more likely to catch a cold as of late.
