Picked this up in Miami at a little shop in Brickell. Kept in in the humi for about a week.
Just finished the Le Bijou Toro, a good 90 minute smoke, just chased with water.
First third was a little throaty, with feint hint of pepper.
Middle was faintly sweet and nutty. Had to re-light towards end of the middle.
The cigar bloomed over the last third and this was definetly the best part.....rich mocha, leather, hints of anise...and some nuttiness.
Complex in the last part of the smoke...lots going on.

I'd give it an 88.

I'm smoking the grand robusto as I write. Into the last third and I must say I'm enjoing it but the first 1/3 was a real treat. For me the real test of a good cigar is when I ask myself if I would buy a box and the answer in the case of the Le Bijou is definitely. I'd probably opt for a smaller ring guage though as other reviewers cite the wrapper is what sets this stick apart from the original My Father, which of course is another fine smoke. I give it a 92.

Barry,

I've smoked the toro, petite robusto and the churchill of this, the churchill seems to be the size that is best in my opinion, the toro and petite robusto seem to be missing something.
