Smoked 2 Monte Pascoals last week in a Sao Paulo tobacco shop watching the Sao Paulo-Rio football (soccer) frenzy played in a pouring rainstorm. I love this cigar. It has a mild taste and does not have a heavy aftertaste. The draw was very smooth and even … no sucking needed. I bought 12 although I gasped at the price in Brazil (~US$12 each!). I see the same cigar at less than $8 at Randys.

Dude, I smoked it last year on vacation and it’s not all that. Raw tobacco smells kinda funky.

I should follow up: what I like about this review–and, one assumes, the cigar–is that the “flavor profile” seems to differ by a significant degree from standard. Coffee. Almonds. Mmm…
