It’s that time of year where the buzz begins to grow on the release of the Avo Limited Edition. As has been custom with the past releases the cigar will make it’s debut on Avo Uvezian’s birthday. He celebrates his 85th birthday on March 22nd, 2011.

Update: According to Edward Simon, brand manager for Avo Cigars this years release will be come in a 10 count box. My answer to this is simple, it depends on your taste. While I love some Avo cigars, sone are just to mild for my personal taste.

This is a great post and I’m pointing my readers to this. Given I think 2010 was a huge year for Avo (LE10 and Heritage), more focus and attention will be put around the LE11. Adding the limited distribution and Avo’s 85th make things more exciting.

I do agree that some of the Avo Cigars are milder for my liking. LE10 and Heritage did a lot to change those things.

    Great post! Thanks.

Nothing mild about the Heritage, Companero and LE10.

I agree, love the change of profile in the Avo portfolio lately.

This and the Padron 1926 are my favorite cigars by far. The AVO LE11 is perfect. Burn, draw, flavor and strength are all exquisite!
