In late 2009 Ernesto Perez-Carrillo returned to the cigar marketplace, and in a short period of time his cigars have become a staple in many humidors. As the man who created La Gloria Cubana not many people knew the name E.P. Carrillo, now less then a year an a half since his return, casual smokers and aficionados know it well.
Earlier this week we review the EP Carrillo New Wave Connecticut which is now beginning to ship to retailers along with today’s review; E.P. Carrillo Elencos. According to E.P. Carrillo, “The E.P. Carrillo Elencos Series will have the same exact blend as the E.P. Carrillo Edición Limitada 2010 Elencos, which was ranked Cigar Aficionado’s #8 Cigar of the Year and rated a 94.”. The cigar will be available is 3 sizes, Don Rubino: 5 1/4 x 50 ($9.50 MSRP), Elites: 6 x 54 ($12.00 MSRP) and Acto Mayor: Torpedo 6 1/4 x 52 ($12.50 MSRP)
