A lot of my friends ask me where I buy cigars. I usually tell them that I buy my cigars at the local brick and mortar (my local cigar shop). But that’s only half the truth. I find myself buying a few cigars through online retailers too. Even though in both cases I may be buying cigars, I’m definitely paying for something totally different.
Well being that I am currently snowbound in New York City I figured I would do a bonus review. Rumour has it the Sanitation Department of New York City is involved in a work slow down and that is why it is taking so long to dig out. The reason for the slow down, well it seems that a lot of people have recently been demoted lately due to budget issues and that their is an upcoming contract negotiation around the corner.

The summer is coming to a close with September around the corner and for the most part things are quiet on the cigar front. In the coming we week we should have an interview with Jesus Fuego up on the site who will be taking the time to talk to us about his affiliation with Xikar, Schooling in Cuba, and other lines in the J. On June 26th, 2010 in Easton, PA Famous Smoke Shop had its annual Cigar Expo located on the complex of it’s massive warehouse and retail establishment. I was invited to the event by Gary Korb who runs Cigar Advisor for Famous in order to cover it from a press perspective. I did not receive cigars from Famous, but did get some from the manufacturers.
