Cigar Review: Quesada Tributo

quesadatn

The other night at our event on the rooftop of Rick’s Cabaret the owner of Fume Cigars gifted me with a few Quesada Tributo cigars for review. The Tributo cigar has been something I have been looking forward to smoking since I heard of its release. A follow up to the Quesada 35th Anniversary the cigar utilizes a special hybrid wrapper which was created using the seeds of the Corojo, Habano 2000, Habano Vuelta Arriba and Sumatra in Ecuador. The cigar itself is a tribute to members of the Quesada family who have passed on. It comes in 4 sizes.

Cigar Review: La Flor Dominicana Air Bender

La Flor Dominicana Air Bender

The La Flor Domincana Air Bender is the latest release from Litto Gomez and it comes in four sizes. I hear the name is a tribute to Litto’s passion for Kung Fu but I have not been able to confirm that. It is also the first full release to use the Ecuadorian Habano wrapper that graced the limited edition Salomon.

The four sizes that this cigar will be released in are the Matatan (5 × 50), Guerrero (6.25 × 54), Maestro (5.5 × 52) and the Valiente (6.25 × 60). The price of this cigar rangers from #7.00 to $8.50 before local takes. La Flor Dominicana calls these cigars “intense, sophisticated and powerful”.

Cigar Review: Room 101 Cigars

I heard good things about these smokes from those who went to the convention and I was dying to try them. Unfortunately they haven’t really begun to show up at shops around the country but I was lucky enough to have a few sent by request. So I thank the good people of Camacho cigars [...]
