J. Fuego Sangre de Toro – Cigar Review

JFuego_SangreDeToro_Band

I am a slacker, or at least I feel like one. I got these samples in the mail a month ago, if not more and they wound up buried in the list of cigars I need to review. So first off let me say Thank you to J. Fuego for sending me these sticks. Secondly, I am sorry it took so long to get to them.

Sangre de Toro which translates to Bull’s Blood sounds to me as if they trump Charlie Sheen’s tiger blood. The cigars will retail from $5.75 to $6.95 before local taxes and will come in Corona (5 1/2 ×46); Robusto (4 7/8 x 49),; Toro (6 ×50) and Belicoso (5 1/2 x 52).

The question remains, are these cigars a #winning experience?

Cigar Review: J. Fuego Natural

I decided to rotate my single stick humidor today and see what was on the bottom that I needed to smoke to constitute 3 cigars for a review. Well the other day Jesus Fuego joined the twitter community so I figured I would kiss some ass smoke one of his cigars in honor of his joining the community. The J. Fuego website calls the Natural, “A creamy cigar with a perfect balance, sweet and spicy. Medium bodied smoke.” Let’s see if this cigar leaves me feeling blown away!

An Interview with Jesus Fuego

I am trying to figure out how I got wrapped up into becoming a true media blogger. First I did a video interview and now an audio interview with Jesus Fuego who was gracious enough to take some time with us to talk about his cigars and the upcoming event at De La Concha on [...]

Cigar Review: Xikar HC Habano Colorado

So 2 weeks ago I had the chance to hang out with Jerry Dear from Xikar over at Cigar Inn in NYC and I enjoyed a nice glass of Ron Zacapa Rum with him as we spoke about cigars, accessories, IPCPR, the Royals, the Chiefs and The Yankees. At the end of the evening Jerry gifted me with a XC 6 x 60 Habano Colorado that I thoroughly enjoyed but didn’t take any notes on it.

Then the next night I headed out to Tobacco Plaza in Great Neck, NY to hang with the Danny & Mike as well as Mr. Dear.

Cigar Review: Capoeira Graduado

One of the biggest gripes I hear about my blog other then the fact I need an editor to address spelling and grammar issues, is the fact that I don’t review anything outside the mainstream arena. To be honest I wasn’t in a rush to fix that for no particular reason at all. But then my good friend Gary Korb from Famous Smoke Shop approached me a few weeks ago. He informed me that he thought we had a similar tastings on various brands and he asked if I would like to review some Famous Exclusives. Without thinking I said yes, after some thought I was hopeful that I didn’t risk ruining a friendship if I didn’t like the cigars.
